Pidgin Personal Bar Free Download [Win/Mac] This plugin adds a status bar at the top of your buddy list. It shows your display name and personal message. You can change your display name and personal message for multiple accounts. You can also hide the status bar in your buddy list. You need to install: Wine Installing Windows applications on Linux/Mac There are a few ways to do this. Winehq has a good page explaining the different options. The Wine website recommends using PlayOnLinux. If you want to run Windows applications on Mac: Double click the dmg file. Choose open. Click the drop down menu at the top left. Choose the application. There is also a Wine Calculator. Alternatively, I also prefer to use Winetricks and playonlinux. Download Winetricks Download the latest version from winetricks.org. Install Run winetricks for your version of Windows. Here are the steps: Double click winetricks.bat and follow the on screen instructions. Installing: For version 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, and 0.9, go to the plugins directory for your version, and unpack the file PidginPersonalBar.tar.gz in it. For version 1.0, go to the plugins directory for your version, and unpack the file PidginPersonalBar1.0.tar.gz in it. Running: Start Pidgin, and go to the Pidgin menu and choose "Plugins". Choose "Pidgin Personal Bar". You may want to change the default size, the buffer, or the fonts for the display name or the personal message: Click the "Preferences" button, and choose "Preferences" from the right list.
